Holiday decorating is absolutely one of my favorite parts of the holiday season. Last year, when I finally had my own space to decorate, I admittedly went a little overboard… I bought everything and anything holiday-related I saw. The result? A very hodge-podge and chaotic decor scheme.

This year, in our new apartment, I knew I wanted to be intentional in my decorating. I was determined to only buy things that would be good investment pieces for holidays in the future. It took a LOT of self-restraint, but ultimately, my space now looks cohesive and my wallet is thanking me.
